BL0 0JQ This is an exciting role that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, and housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment. You will help deliver a variety of public health services while gaining a pharmacy qualification.
Responsibilities
* Engage with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services and advice.
* Perform housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment.
* Assist in dispensing prescription medicines and order pharmaceutical stock.
* Advise customers on over-the-counter medication and assist with minor ailments.
Qualifications
* GCSEs at A-C or 4-9, or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential.
* For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.
Training to be Provided
* Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 (GCSE) and Functional Skills if required.
Future Prospects
* Pharmacy Assistant Apprenticeship - Bury.
* Gain experience in retail and learn about over-the-counter medicines.
* Assist in dispensing prescription medicines.
* Advise customers on over-the-counter medication.
* Assist with minor ailments.
Additional Requirements
* You must be located within 35 minutes of the pharmacy.
* Ability to drive is required; please indicate this on your CV.
* Salary: £8 per hour.
