Senior Care Assistant (Mixed Days and Night Shifts)

What you'll be doing
As a Senior Carer Assistant at Tendring Meadows Residential Care Home you will be responsible the overseeing of the shift and leading the care assistants by example and providing person centred care to residents some of whom are living with dementia.
Being a Senior Care Assistant doesn't just mean helping residents to remain as active and independent as possible while respecting their rights of choice, privacy and dignity. It means having fun and laughter with them and using your skills to help them deal with day-to-day difficulties. Working as part of a team to identify their unique goals and implement personalised care plans.
Your duties will include but are not limited to, assisting them to get up in the morning and go to bed at night, assisting residents to dining rooms and serving meals, carrying out personal care and toileting as per the residents care plan. Completing and reviewing care plans, conducting weekly, monthly audits and speaking with professional that come in to the home. Administrating Medication.
You will be expected to keep accurate records throughout.

The benefits
Flexible shifts - we are currently looking for Full Time Senior Care Assistants - that can cover both day and night shifts.
Our shift patterns are 12 hours from (Day Shift 7am - 7pm) and (Night Shift 7pm - 7am)(Senior Care Assistants will be expected to work alternate weekends)
