Returns Coordinator

Salary: £25,000
Candidate Profile: To Your Home Ltd are seeking a proactive, practical/hands on and detail-oriented individual to directly engage in and enhance our returns procedures. As the Returns Coordinator, your primary role is to process returns, from goods' arrival at the warehouse to resolution, ensuring both customer and company satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Returns Processing
· Process returns promptly, categorising inventory as new, faulty, or damaged.
· Efficiently and accurately document returns to ensure a streamlined process.
Quality Control Inspections
· Collaborate with the relevant departments to perform rigorous quality control inspections on incoming products, when required.
· Evaluate product quality, and packaging, and identify any defects in products or packaging.
Stock Grading
· Responsibly grade stock, preparing it for resale while maintaining high-quality standards.
Coordinate Repair Efforts
· Serve as the primary operative for carrying out minor repairs to ready goods for resale.
· Coordinate and source spare parts when necessary.
Reporting to the Company Director, your role is pivotal in maintaining To Your Home's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. Your expertise in streamlining returns processes and upholding stringent quality control standards will contribute significantly to our company's success.
General Responsibilities:
· Process customer returns efficiently, considering both customer needs and the business's commercial impact.
· Verify returns upon arrival at the warehouse, ensuring all paperwork and goods match before processing, and promptly notify admin of discrepancies.
· Assess products accurately to determine faults and determine appropriate next steps.
· Record return information meticulously.
· Prepare all "as-new" stock for resale.
· Communicate customer return information to the relevant departments accurately and promptly.
· Maintain stock control and inventory management records.
· Document and report all faulty products.
· Document and report all packaging issues.
· Cost-effectively manage the repair process.
· Assist with general warehouse duties. This can include product packaging, to ensure stock availability, and the picking of customer orders.
· Carry out other warehouse/office related tasks as required.
