A growing, global media business is looking for an Office Assistant & Bookkeeper to become the backbone of its day-to-day operations.
This is a varied, hands-on role combining bookkeeping, office coordination, and front-of-house responsibilities — ideal for someone proactive, adaptable, and confident juggling multiple priorities.
This is a part-time, office-based role with flexibility around working hours, making it well-suited to someone looking for a structured role within school hours.
What You’ll Be Doing
️ Managing accounts payable/receivable, invoices, and financial records
️ Supporting bookkeeping tasks including reconciliations and expense tracking
️ Maintaining accurate records within accounting systems (e.g. Sage)
️ Acting as a front-of-house presence — greeting visitors and managing deliveries
️ Coordinating office operations, supplies, and vendor relationships
️ Supporting scheduling, travel coordination, and team logistics
️ Keeping internal systems, databases, and asset registers up to date
️ Assisting with general admin and supporting a smooth-running office environment
What You’ll Bring
1–2 years’ experience in bookkeeping or office administration
Strong attention to detail and financial accuracy
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting systems (Sage or similar)
Highly organised with the ability to multitask and prioritise
Friendly, professional communication style
Adaptability — comfortable being interrupted and switching tasks
High level of reliability, discretion, and accountability
Success in this role is measured by accuracy, organisation, and your ability to keep both financial and operational processes running seamlessly.
