Quantity Surveyor / Estimator – Heathrow Airport – 60 – 80K
Location: Heathrow Airport
Start Date: Immediate / Negotiable
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Estimator looking for your next challenge in a fast-paced, dynamic environment?
Join our expert team at Heathrow Airport and be part of delivering high-profile construction and infrastructure projects at one of the world’s busiest transport hubs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for construction projects
* Conduct detailed material take-offs and assist in procurement
* Manage and track project costs, variations, and valuations
* Liaise with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure budgets and timelines are met
* Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation
* Prepare interim and final accounts
* Contribute to project planning and value engineering initiatives
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator within the construction industry
* Strong knowledge of cost control, procurement, and contract management
* Experience working in an airport or highly regulated environment is a strong advantage
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
* Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management (HNC/HND/Degree)
* CSCS card (an advantage)
* Security clearance for Heathrow Airport (or ability to obtain) - all training costs and development associated with operating for the company / within the Airport is provided by the business.
