Product Development Technician (Lab based role / Home brewing)
Location: Ellesmere Port
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
Type: Permanent full-time

Are you part of the Institute of Brewing & Distilling and looking to bring your skills into a hands-on role?

Package Details
Full time: Monday to Thursday (08:30am – 5:00pm), Friday (08:30am – 2:00pm)
Holidays: 20 days + bank holidays

Based on site
Duties of the role:
* Analyzing and managing fermentation processes.
* Monitoring yeast and bacteria.
* Ensuring product quality.
* Conducting microbiological testing.
* Developing strategies and controlling contamination.
* Playing a crucial role in maintaining microbiological balance for the production of wines and spirits.
* Forming new products and developing new ingredients.
Experience required:
* Degree in Microbiology.
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Creative nature and eagerness to learn.
* Interest or passion for home brewing/wine making is an advantage.
* Strong communication skills.
