Job Overview
Capula, a part of the EDF Group, is a system integration specialist working across energy and related sectors. They are hiring a Project Manager to join their Energy team based in Stone, with flexible working available. The role focuses on delivery of upgrades and modifications to Transmission substation protection and control systems for grid and power transmission clients.
Responsibilities
* Manage multiple projects ranging from £50k to £2 million from start to finish.
* Deliver projects to scope, budget, quality and programme targets.
* Own full financial responsibility for assigned projects.
* Manage subcontractors and external suppliers.
* Lead multi‑disciplinary teams (hardware, software, installation engineers).
* Run client progress and review meetings.
* Ensure full compliance with QEHS requirements across all projects.
* Identify and manage commercial and technical risks early.
* Support project delivery using planning and scheduling tools.
* Help secure future work through strong client relationships and delivery performance.
Qualifications
* Project management experience in an engineering environment.
* Ideally experience in Power Transmission or regulated industries.
* Strong experience using Microsoft Project for planning and scheduling.
* Ability to manage subcontractors and complex project delivery.
* Strong commercial awareness and risk management skills.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel or stay away when required.
* Strong track record of delivering projects to time, cost and quality targets.
* Experience working with NEC3 / NEC4 contracts.
Desirable
* APM qualification or working towards it.
* Experience in bid work or project proposals.
