About the job
We are looking to recruit one permanent Social Worker and another Social Worker to join the MASH Team on a temporary (9 months) basis.
Service & Wellbeing Act (SSWB Act) and the development of the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) which means the team is based in a co-located unit at Cardiff Bay Police Station with partner agencies engaged in the Safeguarding agenda.
Fast paced, office based, no case holding but with a constantly changing work load the Children’s Services MASH team is looking to recruit a suitably experienced Grade 8 Social Worker.
What We Are Looking For From You
The work involves timely risk assessment of contacts / referrals to the MASH and the early identification of those at risk including multi agency strategy discussions for decision making and safeguarding actions.
It is essential you are a Registered Social Worker for this post.
Additional information
With effect from 1st April 2025, these roles attract a market supplement of £5,000 (full time equivalent).
This payment is reviewed on a 12 monthly basis.
This post has a requirement for registration with Social Care Wales.
This post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service Enhanced check.
