Finance Partnering Specialist – Expenses

National salary: circa £50,000

A bit about the job:
You’ll be the go-to finance partner for Commercial Lines expenses. That means working closely with cost centre owners, the people function, and senior leaders. You’ll lead expense planning, forecasting, and performance management. You’ll also support broader business decisions – from transformation to strategy – using data and insight to drive results.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
* Strong financial understanding in particular on expenses. Ideally a good understanding of the General Insurance P&L, although for the right candidate, this could be an area of development in role
* Background of commercially focused finance roles, with FP&A and business partnering experience preferred, alongside a proven ability to manage, challenge, and influence senior stakeholders to drive strategic decision-making and business performance.
* Has or is working towards a relevant accounting qualification e.g., CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent. Qualification by experience also considered.
* Knowledge and familiarity of financial modelling and analytical tools as well as Excel and Power Point.

* National salary circa £50,000, London salary circa £60,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
