Iron Mountain is seeking an organized, results-driven, and dedicated individual to join the Project Delivery Team based at Hinton House, Risley, as a Data Centre Specialist.
Iron Mountain is the industry leader in Records Management. They provide services supporting the Sellafield and Risley contracts, including document scanning, transportation, secure storage, and document management.
Reporting to the Project Supervisor, the Data Centre Specialist will work with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver a wide range of services, supporting the client’s business needs in the most cost-effective and customer-satisfying manner.
The role involves working individually and with the team to prepare, scan, quality check, destroy, and archive records.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Preparation of records
2. Scanning records into Iris Powerscan
3. Completing quality checks of records
4. Checking and running reports in preparation for archiving
5. Identification and management of historic records, refining local processes for management and offsite storage, including sorting, boxing, and bagging legacy records for destruction
6. Supporting ad-hoc demands of the Sellafield Information and Records Management Team
The successful candidate must be a self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a team. They should conduct themselves professionally and adhere to Iron Mountain's core values. Full support and training will be provided.
The role, based on the Sellafield Site, requires providing accurate and efficient quality service to the client, with adaptability and a proactive approach to multifunctional roles within Records Management.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Ability to work effectively across teams
* Strong work ethic and workload management skills
* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
* Attention to detail, resourcefulness, and agility in demanding environments
* Ability to develop long-term relationships with customers and teams
* Ability to work with minimal supervision
Desirable but not essential:
* SC Clearance
* P4 Pass
* Previous experience at Sellafield Site
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Word
