Main duties of the job
The role will include working collaboratively with relevant senior managers and clinical leads to implement and improved existing eating disorder treatment pathways within the Trust and to develop and evaluate eating disorder pathways as part of the CMHT Transformation program. The role will also involve working with the wider system, providing expert guidance and consultation where appropriate and ensuring services are keeping up to date with latest research and evidence based practice.
This role will provide clinical leadership and governance for multidisciplinary staff providing psychological assessment and therapies of adult patients with an eating disorder referred to CWPT eating disorder services.
About us
In Coventry and Warwickshire, we are always seeking to be the best. Our Community Mental Health Transformation Programme has enabled us to seek new and innovative ways to improve the services we deliver in a more holistic, person-centred way, which treats both physical and mental health.
Come and join our expanding team at this time of growth and investment in our staff and our services. You'll have an opportunity to contribute to the development of our services as you and your career develop with us.
Importantly, we have pioneered co-design and co-production of our services with those who have lived experience of mental health care (Experts by Experience). The service will be fully integrated with local services, including Primary Care Networks, employment and housing services, VCSE local organisations and Social Support services.
Whilst your role will be within the Eating Disorders Service, you will be joining a supportive network of consultant level psychological professionals within our mental health services.
