Our client Blackburn with Darwen Council is looking for an Occupational Therapist to join their Assessment & Intervention Team.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct community assessments in a local authority setting, identifying needs and recommending both standard and specialist equipment.
Plan and facilitate minor and major adaptations to enhance safety and functionality within clients' homes.
Collaborate with clients, families, and other professionals to create individualized support plans.
Maintain thorough and accurate records in line with professional and legal standards.Requirements:
HCPC registration and relevant qualifications in Occupational Therapy.
Demonstrated experience working within a local authority setting.
Proficiency in completing manual handling assessments.
Strong knowledge of equipment provision and home adaptation processes.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
