Java Software Engineer – Multiple Roles (Junior to Senior)
Want to work with one of Northern Ireland’s fastest-growing tech companies?
Looking for a team where your input genuinely shapes the architecture and direction of projects? How about working on greenfield builds using the latest Java and cloud technologies every day?
The Role
You’ll be developing high-quality, scalable Java solutions as part of a small, talented engineering team.
From day one, you’ll be hands-on — writing clean, testable code, designing APIs, and contributing to technical decisions that make a real impact.
This is a collaborative environment where engineers are trusted to deliver, experiment, and grow.
What’s In It For You?
• Negotiable salaries (depending on experience — typically £35k–£65k)
• Hybrid working (2 days in office)
• All certifications and training covered — continual learning is encouraged
• A genuine focus on work-life balance
• A tight-knit team of engineers who love what they do and push each other to be better
Technical Skills
Strong Java experience (2+ years)
Hands-on with Spring Boot and Microservices Architecture
AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, EKS, CloudFront, etc.)
Works well independently and as part of a close team
Nice to have:
Experience with CI/CD, Kafka, ELK stack, NoSQL, Spring Security, OAuth2, or front-end tech (React, React Native).
About You
You’re the kind of developer who:
• Loves solving complex problems and takes ownership of outcomes
• Wants to work on impactful projects with modern tools and methods
• Is passionate about learning and mentoring others
• Isn’t afraid to share ideas, challenge norms, and help shape best practices
What’s It Like to Work Here?
The team has one of the best retention rates in Belfast — and for good reason.
You’ll have autonomy, trust, and the freedom to get things done your way.
They’re serious about technical excellence, but they don’t take themselves too seriously — expect a collaborative culture, exciting projects, and a supportive environment where everyone’s contribution matters.
