Oxfordshire’s Children’s Assessment Service are seeking amitted and skilled Social Worker to join their team in Oxfordshire providing early safeguarding support to children and families who may be at risk.
Your new role
You’llplete timely, high‑quality assessments and work closely with multi‑agency partners as part of the Family Safeguarding Model, providing early safeguarding support to children and families who may be at risk. This is a fast‑paced team within a service rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, with a clear ambition to reach ‘Outstanding’.
As a highly skilled social worker, who will;
1. Lead or support s47 investigations, risk assessments and planning
2. Provide clear, professional written reports for meetings and court
3. Contribute to multi‑agency working and duty rota
4. Maintain accurate case records and work within statutory guidance
5. Ensure children’s voices are central to assessments and plans
What you'll need to succeed
6. Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
7. ASYEpleted (or equivalent experience)
8. Statutory children’s services experience
9. Strong risk assessment,munication and report‑writing skills
10. Confident working in a busy safeguarding environment
11. Ability to travel across Oxfordshire when required
