Job Overview
We’re looking for a Senior Business Psychologist to shape our client consulting and learning strategies, ensuring that psychology-informed approaches drive organisational performance and wellbeing.
You’ll work closely with senior leaders and client stakeholders to diagnose challenges, design evidence-based solutions, and provide strategic consulting that embeds behavioural change and sustainable culture shifts.
You will design and deliver programmes and provide thought leadership to strengthen The Wellbeing Project’s market position as a trusted advisor on healthy high performance, leadership development, and organisational wellbeing.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced business psychologist who combines strategic consulting expertise with hands-on learning and facilitation skills.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Consulting & Client Partnership
* Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, HR and OD professionals, and executive teams.
* Lead discovery, needs analysis, and diagnostic conversations to identify organisational challenges and opportunities.
* Design strategic wellbeing, resilience, and leadership development frameworks that drive culture change and performance.
* Partner with clients to embed psychology-based interventions within broader business and people strategies.
* Support business development through solution design, proposals, and client presentations.
Programme Design & Delivery
* Design blended learning programmes that integrate behavioural science, wellbeing, and leadership capability.
* Ensure quality and strategic alignment of all programme design and facilitation.
* Deliver high-impact workshops, executive sessions, and consulting engagements (in-person and virtual).
Organisational Insight & Research
* Apply organisational psychology principles to assess and interpret workforce dynamics, engagement, and wellbeing data.
* Develop and communicate insights that inform strategic decisions for clients and internal projects.
* Evaluate programme effectiveness and translate findings into actionable organisational recommendations.
Thought Leadership & Innovation
* Contribute to The Wellbeing Project’s thought leadership through articles, speaking engagements, and client advisory boards.
* Stay at the forefront of workplace psychology, learning innovation, and leadership development research.
* Contribute to innovating our consulting and digital learning offers.
* Partner cross-functionally to strengthen our consulting methodologies, client relationships, and digital learning capabilities.

Key Skills and Experience Required
Qualifications
* A recognised qualification in Psychology (Masters Degree or equivalent).
* Coaching or facilitation certification advantageous.
Consulting & Strategic Expertise
* Extensive experience (5+ years) in organisational consulting, learning, or leadership development.
* Proven ability to diagnose complex organisational challenges and deliver tailored, high-impact interventions.
* Skilled at facilitating discussions with senior stakeholders and influencing at board or executive level.
Learning & Development Expertise
* Deep understanding of adult learning, behavioural change, and digital learning principles.
* Experience designing and facilitating blended learning and leadership programmes.
Psychological Insight
* Strong applied knowledge in business psychology, organisational resilience, wellbeing, and leadership.
* Ability to translate psychological theory into practical, business-relevant strategies and interventions.
Communication & Facilitation
* Excellent communicator and confident facilitator across formats and audiences.
* Demonstrated ability to inspire engagement and build strong client trust.
