Senior Small Animal Vet at Farthings Veterinary Group
Salary: Up to £83,400 per annum DOE, with a welcome bonus or relocation package up to £5,000
Position: Full-time with flexible working options, limited out-of-hours (OOH) work
About the Practice
Farthings Veterinary Group operates across two sites in Horsham and Billingshurst, within an hour's train ride to London and approximately 45 minutes to the seaside. Located between the North and South Downs, it offers excellent outdoor activities and dog walking locations. The practice is well-established, with 10 FTE vets and 19 FTE RVNs, providing a varied caseload and high standards of pet care.

We are seeking a Senior Vet to join our close-knit team. The role offers flexibility in working patterns and supports career development.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support clinical standards, ensuring high-quality patient care
* Mentor and support junior team members in surgical procedures
* Collaborate on client service, business growth, budgeting, and finances
* Ensure compliance with RCVS Code of Conduct and attend clinical meetings
* Perform emergency procedures such as laparotomies, pleural drainage, and bladder unblocking in male cats
* Advance practice through innovative medical and clinical techniques
