A high-performing 11–18 school in Tamworth is looking to appoint a dedicated Attendance Officer from January 2026 to promote high attendance and support student welfare. The Role You will work as a key part of the pastoral team, ensuring accurate daily attendance tracking and early intervention. Duties include: Monitoring attendance dashboards and registers Making first-day absence calls and logging parental responses Producing weekly attendance reports for Heads of Year and SLT Coordinating attendance meetings with families Supporting return-to-school plans and pastoral interventions Liaising with external agencies where required The School This is a well-regarded school with a strong behaviour culture and excellent pastoral leadership.
