Monday - Friday 8:00-16:30Responsibilities:As an Estimator, you will…
* Interpret technical drawings and specifications to produce accurate cost estimates
* Prepare take-offs and pricing models for steelwork enquiries
* Support the preparation of technical and commercial tender submissions
* Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure accuracy of estimates
* Maintain tender documentation, including pricing and compliance records
* Assist with tender review meetings where required
* Support the handover of successful projects to delivery teams
Requirements:As an Estimator, you will need…
* Previous experience in estimating within steelwork fabrication or a similar sector
* You will need strong, proven experience in producing take-offs from technical drawings, as this forms a key part of the estimating process.
* Background in construction, structural engineering, or related industries
* Strong Microsoft Excel and general IT skills
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Confident communicator, able to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
