Receptionist/Clerical officer

We are looking for a Receptionist/Clerical Officer to join our team.
Our Receptionist/Clerical officer will be the first point of contact for patients relatives and carers utilising the day surgery unit.
You will liaise with all staff regarding theatre lists and admissions and provide a range of administrative and clerical services.
Main duties of the job
* Admitting patients to the unit
* Dealing with queries from colleagues and patients
* Dealing with case notes and paperwork according to hospital policy
* Using different software packages to ensure patent information is up to date

The Day Surgery Unit is open from 07:00 - 19:00 Monday to Friday.

* Dealing with Queries form patients
* Assisting to help and reassure patients and relatives
* Ensuring all patient details are correct and on the correct system
* Dealing with requests from members of the wider team

Person Specification
Knowledge
* Knowledge of hospital systems
Experience
* To be able to prioritise workload
* Previous experience in relevant role
Qualifications
* Functional Maths & English
* GCSE Level English and Maths
