Melrose MedicalCentre are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, friendly and professionalexperienced Practice Nurse to join our small but busy practice for up to 20 hours a week. It is essential that theapplicant must have GP surgery experience and looking to increase the hoursthat they currently work. They must haveexcellent communication skills, organisational skills and the ability to workunder pressure and maintain confidentiality at all times. A good knowledge ofsystmOne and QOF is desirable.
Main duties of the job
To work alongside the salaried GP's within the practice. Must be a team player and have the ability to work using their own initiative.
About us
Melrose medical Centre is a small but very busy practice based in Billingham. There is currently three part time GP's and one part time practice nurse, a Practice Manager and four admin staff.
Job responsibilities
Duties willinclude ECG recording, administering adult vaccinations ie flu and B12, woundcare, health checks/CVD and hypertension screening, new patient health checks,learning disability review, childhood immunisations, cervical smears anddiabetic foot reviews. ARTP performingspirometry certificate or willing to undertake training is preferable thoughnot essential.

* Resistered General Nurse
* Knowledge and confidence in performing all basic nursing procedures.
* Evidence of Continuous Professional Development / Education.
* General Practice Nurse Experience.
* A good knowledge of systmOne and QOF

* ARTP performing spirometry certificate
