Conveyancing Assistant – High-Volume, Supportive Team Environment
I’m working with a well-established and highly regarded organisation within the property sector, offering an excellent opportunity for a Conveyancing Assistant to join a busy and collaborative team.
This is a great role for someone with at least 12 months’ experience in residential conveyancing or remortgage work, who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering a high level of client service.
You’ll be supporting experienced conveyancers with a varied caseload, playing a key role in ensuring transactions progress smoothly from instruction through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:

* Providing a high standard of customer service to clients and corporate referrers
\t
* Supporting a conveyancer to meet conversion and service targets
\t
* Managing files (both electronic and paper) efficiently
\t
* Chasing key parties including clients, solicitors, lenders and third parties for updates and documentation
\t
* Handling enquiries on sale and purchase transactions
\t
* Assisting with exchanges and completions
\t
* Requesting and chasing funds from lenders, clients and other solicitors
\t
* Preparing, issuing and checking legal documents
\t
* Inputting and interpreting key data such as mortgage offers and redemption figures
What I’m looking for:

* Around 12 months’ experience within residential conveyancing or remortgage work
\t
* Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach
\t
* Ability to work to deadlines and manage a high-volume workload
\t
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
\t
* Confident working both independently and as part of a team
\t
* Previous administrative or customer service experience within a legal or property setting
