About the role We are looking for a driven, consultative, and customer-focused Solutions Consultant to engage prospects, uncover business challenges, and recommend tailored SaaS solutions that deliver real impact. You’ll play a critical role in qualifying opportunities, running discovery conversations, and guiding businesses of all sizes toward the right services and solutions serving as a trusted advisor throughout the sales cycle. This role requires energy, resilience, commercial awareness, and a strong ability to connect with prospects across multiple channels. What You’ll Do Engage effectively with prospects generated through marketing campaigns, events, and topical content to understand their current challenges and future business goals Conduct structured BANT qualification calls to assess needs, budget, authority, and timelines Take a consultative approach to discovery — asking insightful questions, probing deeply, and identifying true business pain points Recommend suitable solutions and services aligned to each prospect’s operational and strategic objectives Design and deliver tailored product demonstrations that clearly articulate business value and ROI Deliver a customer-first experience, anticipating needs and exceeding expectations at every touchpoint Actively identify opportunities to improve service offerings using insights gathered from prospect conversations Work toward clear sales targets and performance metrics, maintaining focus on results and deadlines Act quickly and decisively in fast-changing, competitive environments Contribute to social selling efforts by engaging on social media and creating relevant content Contribute to sales enablement materials, demo environments, and best practice documentation Represent the business confidently on video and audio for outreach, educational sessions, and prospect engagement Manage multiple prospects and opportunities simultaneously in an organized and methodical way Maintain deep expertise in our product, industry trends, and competitive landscape and provide structured feedback to Product teams based on customer insights What You'll Bring Proven experience in a similar solutions, consultative sales, or SaaS-based role Proven experience running tailored product demonstrations and discovery sessions Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and “hit the ground running” Strong results-driven mentality with a clear focus on achieving targets and deadlines Excellent probing, listening, and questioning skills with the ability to uncover underlying business challenges Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and executive stakeholders including C Level Strong consultative mindset — naturally curious, commercially aware, and focused on delivering meaningful outcomes Ability to stay positive, forward-thinking, and solution-oriented in challenging situations Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Comfort working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success Experience responding to RFPs and technical security questionnaires is a plus Active and confident on social media, with experience creating content to drive engagement Experience using Sage products and add-ons (highly desirable) What Success Looks Like You anticipate needs before they are articulated and act with urgency and initiative You pursue opportunities with energy and momentum You remain focused on outcomes, even in competitive and unpredictable situations You combine commercial acumen with genuine customer empathy You gain positive prospect feedback on discovery and demo experiences You deliver accurate solution scoping and minimal post-sale surprises You develop strong relationships and alignment with all areas of the business How we work & what we offer Positive environment & hybrid working (remote-first with purposeful on-site visits).
