We are expanding our team and have an exciting opportunity for Advice Specialists / Financial Advisors to join us in an FCA regulated role. You will provide advice to a specific group of newly acquired clients, focusing on accumulation and consolidation activities within a limited range of simple products and investment solutions.
Unique to this role is that all clients will be generated by the group, eliminating the need for you to generate your own leads. Additionally, full paraplanning and administrative support will be provided.
The advice will primarily be given to new clients, with potential for some review work, ensuring that Destination Retirement Wealth offers appropriate solutions for clients who may be or become orphaned by previous external advice relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver suitable financial advice related to retirement planning, pensions, and non-pension investments.
2. Support the Product Manager – Digital Wealth and Investments and Service Manager – Retirement Savings and Advice to ensure compliance with FCA Conduct Rules and Principles.
3. Achieve annual objectives as agreed with the Service Manager.
4. Assist in the development of digital wealth advice propositions.
5. Ensure products and investment options are offered in a manner that promotes positive customer outcomes.
6. Maintain high standards of customer service and compliance, adhering to best practices and the company's culture.
7. Continuously update technical knowledge and presentation skills to ensure advice remains compliant, accurate, and relevant.
Skills and Experience:
1. Qualified to QCF Level 4 with a valid Statement of Professional Standing (SPS) from an approved body.
2. Recent experience in financial advice and holding or having held Competent Adviser Status (CAS).
3. Strong technical expertise and understanding of regulatory expectations.
4. Experience working with investment platforms and fund solutions.
5. Commitment to continuous improvement and personal development.
6. Interest in leveraging advice technology to improve efficiency.
7. Ability to challenge peers and management constructively to enhance customer experience.
8. Curiosity and problem-solving skills to address complex challenges.
9. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, unstructured environment.
