We are currently looking for a dedicated Registered Manager to lead either a solo home or a two-bed EBD home in Melton Mowbray.
The Role
As the Registered Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring that it operates safely, efficiently, and in line with Ofsted regulations. This is a unique opportunity to lead a small, supportive team and make a genuine difference in the lives of children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and oversee all aspects of the home, ensuring high-quality care for children and young people.
* Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and Childrens Home Quality Standards.
* Lead, motivate, and support a small team of staff, fostering professional development and high standards of care.
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and external agencies.
* Promote a warm, child-centered, and therapeutic environment.
* Manage administrative duties including staff rotas, safeguarding records, and reporting requirements.
About You
* Experienced Registered Manager or Deputy Manager ready to step up.
* Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and EBD care practices.
* Passionate about supporting children and young people to achieve positive outcomes.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards).
