Purpose of the Role:
As the Junior Merchandiser, you will be working closely with both internal teams and our retail partners, you will be key in ensuring stock is delivered in full and in a timely and efficient manner to our customers. Your role will involve working with many SKUs, forecasting, and keeping full availability on both new and continuity lines, as well as project managing key company launches and promotions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work with the Buying team to propose the optimum range using historical analysis and current trade to present the options and plan to the Merchandise Manager.
* Forecasting of MSSIs, WSSIs and Monitor Sheets to identify open to buy and potential overstock scenarios.
* Manage/oversee the order process by working with Buying and Production to ensure the Critical Path dates are accurate and reflected in any commitment.
* Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure that intake is in line with the phasing plans and key trading cycles.
* Review trade across all channels and propose actions for both over and under-performance.
* Develop and motivate junior members of team and support them to maximise individual performance and deliver business targets through their objectives.
* Deputise for your line manager when required.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
Technical:
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel.
* Operating as a Junior Merchandiser or as an Assistant Merchandiser with at least two years’ experience.
* Knowledge of the current retail environment and consumer behaviour to drive product strategy.
* Understanding of supply chain dynamics, including effective supplier management and negotiation.

Additional information: Our Hybrid Work Policy requires a minimum of 4 days in the office and 1 working from home.
