Overview
As an Enablement Assessment Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting adults (18+) with high-level needs, including mental health conditions, learning disabilities, and autism. Working across Kent with a focus on Thanet / Herne Bay / Whitstable, your main role will be to deliver intensive, person-centred enablement interventions in the community. Your work focuses on promoting independence, preventing escalation to higher levels of care, and helping individuals achieve their personal goals. You may also be required to support individuals currently in-patients at main Kent psychiatric hospitals.

Responsibilities
* Deliver intensive, person-centred enablement interventions in community settings to support independence and prevent escalation of care.
* Work across Kent with a focus on Thanet / Herne Bay / Whitstable, and support individuals in either community or hospital settings as required.
* Travel across Kent and adapt to changing priorities within the enablement programme timescales.
* Collaborate with multi-agency teams and communicate effectively to support service users.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Experienced in supporting individuals with mental health needs, autism, and learning disabilities.
* Confident working independently and collaboratively with multi-agency teams.
* Organised, flexible, and proactive with strong assessment skills.
* Able to travel across Kent and adapt to changing priorities.
* Comfortable working at pace within the timescales of the enablement programme.
* A team player who values innovation, collaboration, and continuous development.
