A well-established engineering manufacturer based in Diss is expanding its focus on lean manufacturing and operational performance. They are looking for a Continuous Improvement Engineer who wants to develop their skills while working alongside experienced CI professionals.
The successful candidate will be supported in developing their expertise and will receive full sponsorship to achieve Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll work across the manufacturing operation helping identify and implement improvements, including:
*
Supporting Continuous Improvement projects across production and quality
*
Identifying inefficiencies and bottlenecks in manufacturing processes
*
Collecting and analysing operational performance data
*
Supporting Kaizen events, 5S activity and root cause analysis
*
Mapping processes and helping implement practical improvements
*
Working closely with operators, engineers and team leaders on the shop floor
*
Monitoring improvement outcomes to ensure improvements are sustained
This is a hands-on role working closely with production teams to turn improvement ideas into real operational results.

You might currently be working as a:

Continuous Improvement Engineer
*
Manufacturing Engineer
*
Process Engineer
*
Production Engineer
Or in a similar manufacturing role with exposure to Lean tools.
You’ll likely have:
*
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (or working towards it)
*
Experience within a manufacturing or production environment
*
Exposure to Lean tools such as 5S, root cause analysis or process mapping
*
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
*
Confidence working with teams on the shop floor
