We are currently recruiting for a Behaviour Support Worker to provide additional support interventions to students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities in a secondary school environment. The position is to start in September 2024 and will be on a long-term basis.
Support will be based in small groups or on a 1:1 basis. The role involves liaising collaboratively with colleagues and outside agencies to ensure the correct support is in place for identified learners. Case-load working and maintaining student records are essential responsibilities of this role.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Behaviour Support Worker, you should:
* Have significant experience working with individuals with learning difficulties, behavioural challenges, or disabilities
* Possess a high level of literacy and numeracy
* Be willing to undertake relevant training
* Have a genuine desire to be part of a committed team of support workers
