An outstanding opportunity for experienced Customer Service Advisors to join a leading financial services provider, supporting customers through some of life’s toughest moments – including illness, redundancy, or bereavement.
About the Role
This is not a typical call centre role – every conversation matters. You will be trusted to make empathetic, fair decisions that support customers while meeting FCA standards. You will need exceptional listening skills and a genuine passion for helping others.
Responsibilities
* Handle inbound calls and occasional written queries with professionalism and empathy
* Support customers in vulnerable or complex financial situations
* Agree realistic repayment plans within company policy and FCA requirements
* Assess customer income and expenditure to ensure solutions are affordable
* Achieve KPIs while maintaining high service quality
Qualifications
* Excellent listening and communication skills
* Empathy, patience and resilience
* Strong PC skills, including Word and Excel
* Flexible and adaptable in a changing environment
* Motivated to deliver the right outcomes for customers
Requirements
* Experience in financial services, collections, or vulnerability support (Desirable)
* Customer Service experience
* Pass a credit check
* 3 years references
Pay range and compensation package
* £25,500 basic salary + bonus (up to 7.5% OTE)
* 26 days holiday + bank holidays (increasing with service)
* Hybrid working after training (2 days office / 3 days home)
