Are you a dedicated Early Years Professional looking for consistent morning work in Barking? We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our team for a permanent, part‑time position. This role is strictly term‑time only, allowing you to enjoy the school holidays while maintaining a rewarding career in childcare.
Key Responsibilities
* Morning Session Delivery: Support the lead teacher in delivering high‑quality morning activities centred on the EYFS framework.
* Child Development: Track and monitor the progress of children, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Nursery Team to maintain high standards of care and education.
* Safeguarding: Ensure all safeguarding, health and safety protocols are strictly followed.
* Communication: Provide daily updates and professional handovers to parents and carers.
Qualifications & Experience
* Minimum Level 2 Childcare or Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification (highly preferred).
* Proven experience in a Private Day Nursery, Pre‑school, or school setting.
* Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Ofsted requirements.
* Must be able to commit to 25 hours per week (morning shifts, Monday‑Friday).
* Must be able to commute to Barking, IG11.
