Head of Network and BOS consulting
Ericsson is looking for a highly experienced Techno-Operational Consulting Leader to lead the NW & BOS Transformation Consulting practice and to be part of the Global Consulting Leadership Team that leads business and offerings across Ericsson.
Responsibilities
* Drive global P&L and define objectives of NW & BOS Transformation Consulting domain
* Identify, develop and manage portfolio of leading NW & BOS Transformation Consulting offerings
* Identify Consulting opportunities by working with tech professionals – Sales and Solution Architects
* Nurture and convert opportunities while contributing actively to consulting proposals
* Guide / Lead delivery of consulting projects / programs across the globe
* Engage as thought leader at CxO level
* Lead NW & BOS Transformation consulting team comprising senior members
* Manage stakeholders in Consulting communities across geographies
* Actively contribute outside your domain to reach overall business objectives
Qualifications
* 15+ years of professional experience including demonstrated ability to sell and deliver consulting projects
* Proven capability to sell and deliver Core / Technology / Operational Consulting projects with a business mindset
* Previous experience leading Consulting business, Consulting practice and Consulting teams, including P&L accountability
* Sound technical knowledge across Core, Cloud, RAN, Telco Orchestration, and B/OSS Transformation domains
* Sound delivery skills: create plans to align technical strategies with business ambition, formulate strategies, define transformation journeys, excel in fact-based storytelling with strong influencing skills
* Strong people and team leadership skills: coach and enable individual development, track record of team growth and operational management
* Sound behavioral skills: excellent oral and written communication, high orientation towards innovation and learning, experience in international and cross‑cultural environments, results‑oriented and commercial thinking
* Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering; Master’s in Business preferred
Domain Expertise
* AN, Orchestration & Automation transformation – e2e methodology, operational impacts, transformation delivery programs
* 5G Core and 5G Network – technology evolution, deployment options, business implications, monetization pathways
* Telco Cloud transformation – virtualization, Cloud Native, GCC, C3, DevOps, CICD, operational implications of 5G Core movement
* Operational transformation & Operating models for 5G Evolution – processes, metrics/KPIs, OSS systems knowledge
* Agile methodologies and DevOps WOW
* OSS Systems / Support strategies – orchestration solutions, automation, microservices, analytics, open source communities, competitor landscape
* Standards such as TOGAF, ITIL, TMF TAM/SID, ODA
* Telco Cloud technology trends – containers, microservices, MEC, public cloud enterprise solutions, cloud reference architectures
Location & Travel
Opportunities globally; expected travel is 50% based on business needs.
