About the position An exciting opportunity exists within Council’s Parks Department to join our Parks Horticulture team as a Parks Maintenance Officer. The main responsibilities will include: Undertake horticultural and lawn maintenance tasks such as ride on mowing, hand mowing, brush cutting, mulching, pruning, watering and weed control Assist in undertaking planting programs Assist in carrying out any necessary cleansing activities in parks and reserves including collection of litter and reporting of graffiti and vandalism About you Experience maintaining and enhancing open space parks Ability to use a variety of horticulture tools, plant and equipment A current Victorian Driver's License A strong understanding of safe work practices Benefits of working at Frankston City Council Be part of a workplace that is looking to transform the way that we work and build on our values “Kinder, Fairer, Smarter”. This position is remunerated at a Band 3A $69,665.28 per annum plus superannuation.
