About the Role


This role involves deploying, maintaining, supporting, and enhancing our Information Security tools and processes. Key responsibilities include:

1. Implementing and maintaining network, intrusion detection, and prevention systems, along with other security tools in hybrid environments (on-premises and cloud).
2. Staying informed of the latest cybersecurity threats to advise on system protection.
3. Monitoring threat intelligence feeds for actionable detection and response.
4. Analyzing security logs to identify attacker TTPs, investigating suspicious activities, and performing remediation.
5. Developing, testing, and validating security capabilities to identify vulnerabilities and build detection and response measures.
6. Serving as a technical resource during active security response efforts.
7. Tracking and resolving security issues.
8. Supporting IAM systems through monitoring and enhancements to ensure operational security.
9. Managing user roles, permissions, and authentication methods (e.g., PAM, SSO, MFA).
10. Enforcing policies on least privilege access, identity governance, and access reviews.
11. Managing identity lifecycle activities such as provisioning and de-provisioning.
12. Monitoring cloud security events and responding to threats.
13. Creating automated security playbooks for incident response.
14. Identifying and remediating vulnerabilities in cloud environments.
15. Collaborating with teams to ensure secure architecture and practices in cloud settings.
16. Implementing data security policies including DLP, privileged access, and insider risk management.
17. Designing automations to improve security workflows.
18. Supporting audits, penetration tests, and vulnerability assessments.
19. Developing and measuring KPIs and metrics for security trends and insights.
20. Ensuring the safety of sensitive information and IT equipment through appropriate security measures.

Experience


Ideal candidates will demonstrate high ethical standards, autonomy, and possess:

* A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, cybersecurity, or related fields.
* Security certifications such as GCIA, GCFA, GCFE, CISSP (Associate), CEH, or equivalent.
* Experience in areas like IAM, security operations, threat hunting, EDR, detection signatures, and analytics.
* Familiarity with open standards such as SAML, OAuth, or OpenID.
* Knowledge of encryption, logging, and analytics domains.
* Hands-on experience with securing network and cloud architectures.
* Experience with IAM technologies like AD, Azure AD, and access policies.
* Proficiency with SIEM, incident detection, response, and forensics.
* Experience in threat hunting and incident response in Windows/Linux and cloud/hybrid environments.
* Skills in SIEM configuration and analysis, security automation tools, and scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, etc.
* Ability to make architectural decisions, troubleshoot, and improve systems.
