Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Practitioner to join our team, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experiences of children. As a Lead Practitioner, you will be responsible for leading a team of practitioners, ensuring high standards of care and education are maintained within our nursery setting. Your expertise in early childhood education and management will be essential in fostering a nurturing environment that promotes children's development and well-being.

Duties

* Lead and support a team of practitioners in delivering high-quality childcare and early years education.
* Develop and implement engaging learning programmes that cater to the individual needs of children.
* Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to create a supportive community.
* Monitor children's progress and maintain accurate records to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, promoting professional development and best practices.
* Ensure the nursery environment is safe, clean, and conducive to learning.
* Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns that may arise.

Requirements

* Strong background in early childhood education with relevant qualifications.
* Experience working with children in a nursery or similar environment is essential.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Ability to drive is advantageous for potential off-site activities or training sessions.
* A commitment to safeguarding children's welfare and promoting their development.
* A positive attitude, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
