This role requires the ability to make quick decisions, provide emotional support to families, and ensure the highest standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess and monitor the health status of neonates, including vital signs, feeding patterns, and developmental progress.
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
* Provide support and education to parents and families regarding their infant’s care and development.
* Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
* Respond quickly to medical emergencies and be prepared to assist with resuscitation efforts when needed.
* Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards.
