Process Engineer Opportunity, Deeside. We’re recruiting on behalf of our growing client who are seeking a Process Engineer to join their team on a permanent, full time basis. This role is to take ownership of developing and optimising precision manufacturing processes across machining, welding, electropolishing, pinking, and engraving. You’ll play a key role in driving efficiency, quality, and reliability—acting as the go-to technical expert on the shop floor. This is a hands-on role where you’ll lead process improvements, problem-solving, and innovation in a fast-paced, high-quality manufacturing environment. What You’ll Do Develop and refine processes for CNC machining, welding, surface finishing, and engraving. Design and improve tooling, fixtures, and jigs to boost consistency and operator efficiency. Support new technology and equipment integration, from specification through commissioning. Lead investigations into process issues, applying root cause analysis and corrective actions. Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. Create and maintain robust process documentation and operator training materials. Champion continuous improvement through Lean methods, Kaizen, and cross-functional projects. What You’ll Bring 3 years’ process engineering experience in precision or metal-based manufacturing. Strong knowledge of machining, welding, and surface finishing; exposure to electropolishing and engraving a plus. Proficiency with CAD tools (SolidWorks/AutoCAD/CAM) and manufacturing documentation.
