Overview
GMS is looking for a Security / Loss Prevention Officer to work at a highly prestigious site in Northampton, NN6 7GZ.
Shift pattern – Days / Nights and Weekends (8.5hr, 11hr or 12hr shifts are available).
As a Security Officer with GMS, you will receive a pay rate of £12.60 per hour.

Responsibilities
* Working within a small team of security officers
* Conducting searches of warehouse staff as they leave the warehouse, including shift finish times
* Performing bag and staff searches
* Patrolling the warehouse, maintaining a visible presence
* Performing external patrols of the building and perimeter
* Reporting findings promptly and escalating issues as necessary
* Gatehouse duties, controlling access and egress to the site
* Monitoring CCTV
* Generating accurate written reports
Qualifications
* Excellent communication skills
* View punctuality as important
* Professional demeanour with sound judgement
* Capability of working on your own initiative
* CCTV License would be advantageous, but not essential for all roles
* SIA License required – non‑SIA licence holders will not be considered
* Eligibility to work and live in the UK
