About The Role
The Department of Politics, Philosophy & International Relations seeks a Tutor in Politics for a temporary contract of 5 months.You’ll be teaching on Politics modules across our undergraduate provision. Key duties include: Convening and delivering Introduction to Politics (first year undergraduate module), Teaching 50% on Parliamentary Studies A(third year undergraduate module), Teaching a “topic” on Researching Politics (third year undergraduate module), Contributing to the teaching of Methodology for the Social Sciences (MA module). Additional teaching and grading support on ‘team taught’ modules might be required as agreed with the Head of Department. You will also be contributing to Administrative Roles in Research Groups and/or Learning and Teaching functions of the Department of Politics, Philosophy, and International Relations as agreed with the Head of Department. Your main work will be teaching and assisting with associated administration, but you are warmly invited to become part of the Department’s lively research culture.

Welsh Language Skills
The Welsh language level required for this role is Level 1 - A little. The role holder will be able to pronounce Welsh words, answer the phone in Welsh (good morning/afternoon) and use very basic everyday words and phrases (thank you, please etc.). Level 1 can be reached by completing a 1 hour course.
