We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Minor Injuries (MIU) Practitioner to join our in-house flexi team. You will provide frontline care and management of patients presenting with undifferentiated minor injuries and ailments, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of safe, efficient, and patient‑centred care.
Our Minor Injuries Units are located across the County of Cornwall and.HashMap of Scilly and are waiting to welcome you into the team.
We are accepting applications from qualified clinical professionals, including nurses and paramedics.
We can offer a range of shifts covering days and weekends and standard shifts are 7.5‑12.5 hours. Shift times may be negotiable.
Main duties of the job
Assess, diagnose and treat patients with undifferentiated minor injuries and illnesses such as lacerations, sprains, strains, fractures, bites, stings, infected wounds, head injuries, infections or scratches of the eye, sports injuries, minor burns and scalds.
Perform wound closure and minor joint and fracture reduction.
