We want to appoint an enthusiastic and committed support officer to join our skilled Planning Development Management Service which deals with a wide range of planning projects.
It is an excellent time to join Guildford, the Authority has a keen focus on preserving the Borough’s heritage and landscape whilst ensuring that we provide high quality homes and access to employment.
In this role you would:
1. Be responsible for maintaining and monitoring a database for planning appeals, including arranging meetings, managing processes for Hearings and Inquiries
2. Maintaining and monitoring complaints and FOI records
3. Recording and monitoring Planning Performance Agreements
4. General Purchase Orders and process invoices relating to Development Management services
5. Maintain training record and co-ordinate officer training needs and induction programmes
6. Proactively contribute to the service of the Development Management function
7. Be able to work independently and within a team
8. General office support responsibilities

Qualifications
Good standard of education with a minimum of 5 GCSE's or equivalent experience
