What you’ll do on a typical day:
Lead operational activities to achieve and exceed KPI targets and customer expectations
* Ensure Health & Safety and Environmental standards are maintained across the shift
* Manage daily resource planning, work allocation, headcount, downtime and performance
* Drive continuous improvement and eliminate waste through effective processes
* Conduct investigations, disciplinary meetings, and support grievance resolution
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Experience in a similar managerial role within warehousing or logistics
* Strong people‑management skills with the ability to lead, coach and develop teams
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload effectively
* Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
