A bit about the job:
We have permanent opportunities for candidates passionate about providing exceptional customer service to join our Claims Team within Aviva. Joining the Aviva Claims team, you’ll play a vital role in a company that paid out £34.4 billion in claims and benefits last year globally.
This is a rewarding role as we help our customers when they need us most, whether they have lost a loved one or face a critical or terminal illness. Successful candidates will need a positive attitude towards change, commitment, drive, and a desire to learn and develop using initiative, ownership, and judgment to find the best resolution for customer queries.
Don’t worry if you have no previous Claims experience; we will provide all the necessary training to support your learning about our products and customers.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
* Ability to communicate effectively with customers, handling interactions with sympathy and support while providing clear information
* Experience in an office environment is desirable, but strong experience in other professional customer-facing roles (e.g., retail) will also be considered
* Ability to work independently and make decisions in a customer-focused team environment
* Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding, and changing environment
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
