Job Title: Senior Application Support Engineer Location: Aghalee (occasional travel) Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 Set up: Mon - Fri, 9AM - 5PM (Onsite) About the Role We're looking for a hands-on Senior Application Support Engineer to take ownership of key business applications and ensure they run smoothly across the organisation. You'll be the go-to person for day-to-day support, updates, integrations, and process improvements, working closely with key stakeholders across multiple departments. What You'll Do Own and support core business applications, including troubleshooting, incident resolution, and performance tuning. Manage application updates, releases, and changes, coordinating with internal teams and vendors. Maintain and improve integrations with other systems, ensuring smooth data flow. Write and maintain clear documentation, SOPs, and training materials for users. Identify under-used features and optimise how applications are adopted across the business. Ensure security, data governance, and disaster recovery processes are followed. What We're Looking For Strong experience in application support or ownership. Strong SQL skills and experience with SQL-backed business applications (T-SQL preferred) Experience in supporting and integrating business applications (APIs, EDI, flat files) and vendor management. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Strong documentation and training experience. Analytical, proactive, and adaptable mindset. Nice to Have Experience with ERP or logistics systems. Familiarity with BI/reporting tools. Knowledge of ITIL practices.
