Commercial Litigation Solicitor / Associate
Location: Bristol | Full-time | Permanent
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a solicitor or associate solicitor to join the commercial litigation team at a leading regional firm with a national outlook in their Bristol office.
They are seeking a qualified lawyer from 1 PQE + with experience in commercial dispute resolution gained at a well-regarded national or regional law firm.
About the Role
You will work on a diverse caseload of high-value and complex matters.
* Handling a range of general commercial disputes
* Managing claims involving professional negligence, commercial contracts, and warranty disputes
* Advising on issues arising from corporate acquisitions
Key Responsibilities
* Manage your own caseload and handle files effectively
* Advise, build and maintain client relationships
* Contribute to marketing initiatives and attend networking events
* Begin developing a sector specialism
* Assist with larger projects and meet deadlines reliably
* Support junior team members and contribute to a collaborative team culture
What experience is required
* Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with relevant experience in dispute resolution
* Previous experience handling commercial disputes independently (with supervision where needed)
* Ability to delegate work appropriately and manage junior colleagues
* Excellent communication skills and a strong team ethic
* Ambition to grow professionally within a progressive, client-focused firm
