Teacher of hard materials (automotive/mechanical engineering)

Full time, Permanent

Secondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura, Certificated teacher • Technology


Overview

Due to our growing roll and the exciting expansion of a dedicated senior campus planned for 2026, we are currently seeking applications for a highly motivated teacher of hard technology. Applicants will need to be NZ registered, have a learner-centred focus and be excited about working in a collaborative, flexible and responsive learning environment. Please state all supporting subjects and your specific technology strengths in your application.

Responsibilities

* Contribute to a learner-centred education in a collaborative, flexible and responsive learning environment.
* Be involved in the whānau system and provide mentoring and academic counselling to students.
* Apply restorative practices to build positive professional relationships with learners.
* State all supporting subjects and your specific technology strengths in your application.


Qualifications

* NZ registered teacher
* Experience in hard technology or related areas is valued
