About the role
In this Logistics Inbound Operator job in Weybridge, you will be responsible for managing inbound shipment schedules and maintaining accurate logistics records. Key duties include:
5. Scheduling arrival times and quantities from overseas factories in line with the order book
6. Monitoring and reporting on all movements of goods
7. Communicating with factories to control inbound haulage and escalating any issues
8. Planning direct deliveries to customers, including booking slot management alongside the Order Management team
9. Liaising with overseas factories, 3PL warehouses, and sales departments for intake planning
10. Maintaining efficient import shipping records and databases
11. Providing accurate lead time and delivery information to relevant departments
12. Delivering prompt and accurate product arrival updates to the Sales department
