About the Project:
Crewe Lyceum's Summer Youth Project returns in 2025 with the beloved musical Annie! This exciting initiative provides a high-quality theatrical experience for young people aged 8-18, culminating in a fully staged production at the historic Crewe Lyceum Theatre.
Role Summary:
The Deputy Stage Manager (DSM) is a key member of the Stage Management Team, working closely with the our Theatre Technicians, Director, and Creative Team to ensure the smooth running of the production. The DSM will be central to maintaining clear communication, maintaining the prompt book and calling technical cues, including lights, sound and fly's.
Fee: £735 for 7 days of work between 15th-23rd August 2025.
Job Requirements
Create and maintain the show prompt book ("the book"), including all cues, blocking, and notes.
Call technical and performance cues during technical and dress rehearsals and 3 x performances, working closely with the technical team.
Experience of calling and cueing fly's in a venue with both counterweight and hemp.
Experience in stage management or a similar theatrical role, particularly as a DSM or ASM.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Calm and professional under pressure.
