Salary:
* PAYE: £13.90 per hour
* Umbrella: £18.00 per hour
Are you an organised and proactive Technical Support Officer with experience in property or technical services? Network Recruitment Wales is seeking a Technical Support Officer (Property) to support the Resources > Financial Services directorate based in Barry. This 13-week temporary assignment has arisen due to a vacancy pending permanent recruitment and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to essential property and technical support functions within a local authority setting.
What You’ll Do:
* Provide technical and administrative support to the Property function, ensuring services run efficiently and effectively.
* Assist with property-related processes, records, and documentation in line with organisational procedures.
* Support officers and managers with data management, reporting, and coordination of activities.
* Liaise with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders as required.
* Ensure compliance with relevant policies, confidentiality requirements, and statutory obligations.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience in a technical support, property, or administrative role within a public sector or similar environment.
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
* Good IT skills and confidence using systems to maintain accurate records and reports.
* Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
* The ability to work independently as well as part of a team within a hybrid working model.
Essential Requirements:
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* Signed Confidentiality Agreement.
* Criminal Convictions Declaration.
* A minimum of 2 years’ references/work history.
