Staffline are recruiting on behalf of BSO for a Band 3 Course Administror required on a temporary basis based in Bayview Medical Practice.
JOB TITLE AND BAND: Higher Clerical Officer (Band 3)
DEPARTMENT / DIRECTORATE: Primary Care & Older People's Services
LOCATION Bayview Medical Practice
Criteria:
1. 5 GCSEs (Grades A-C) including English Language or equivalent or higher educational standard AND 1 year's administrative/clerical experience
2. NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent or higher educational standard and 1 year's administrative/clerical experience
3. 3 years' administrative/clerical experience
4. *Administrative/Clerical experience is defined as experience in an office based environment to include diary management, dealing with enquiries.
Skills :

6. Good communication skills
7. Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
8. Ability to be proactive and prioritise workload
9. Ability to work on own initiative
10. Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and to relate to senior members of staff
Knowledge :
11. Handling telephone calls from a range of sources
12. Understanding of the role of administration to support the overall objective of the Surgery
13. Knowledge of computer packages used within the office Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word
14. Experience preparing a variety of documents including minutes, letters, reports and presentations
