Harvest Manager Harvest Manager - Herefordshire - £55,000 The Job: An established fresh produce business is seeking a Harvest Manager to take full responsibility for harvest operations across multiple crops. Reporting to senior management, you will lead harvest planning, labour management and quality delivery, ensuring crops are harvested efficiently, safely and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities: - Manage day to day harvest operations across a range of field crops - Lead, motivate and develop a large seasonal workforce and supervisory team - Plan and allocate labour to meet changing crop and production demands - Monitor productivity, quality and costs, taking action where required - Work closely with packhouse and farm management teams to meet customer requirements - Support recruitment planning through crop and labour forecasting - Ensure accurate record keeping for payroll, performance and harvest data - Drive continuous improvements in efficiency and output - Ensure all harvest activities meet health & safety, food safety and company standards - Maintain accurate records for training, audits and traceability - Monitor safe use of machinery and report incidents appropriately The Candidate: - Proven experience in a harvest or farm management role - Strong people management skills, particularly with seasonal or diverse teams - Well organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment - Good understanding of crop quality standards and harvest processes - Confident with data, record keeping and basic IT systems - Flexible with working hours during peak periods - Full UK driving licence - Experience with fresh produce crops (e.g. vegetables or soft fruit) - Knowledge of performance-based pay systems The Package: - Salary up to £55,000 dependent on experience Please email your CV to Charlotte Levent, Senior Delivery Recruitment Consultant, CLevent@agriRS.co.uk.
